Only the good stuff! Our candles are hand-poured using 100% soy wax made from American-grown soybeans, premium fragrance oils infused with essential oils, and organic crackling wooden wicks made from native cherry wood. They're phthalate-free, non-toxic, vegan, and designed to fill your home with cozy vibes and brighter days.

There are SOY many reasons why we love soy wax, but we'll keep it short and sweet: Most candles (cough Bath & Body Works cough) are made with paraffin wax, which is derived from petroleum. Our candles are made with soy wax, a renewable resource derived from soybeans. Soybeans are grown right here in the USA by American farmers—so you're supporting local agriculture with every burn. Soy wax burns cleaner than paraffin wax, producing very little soot when burned properly. Soy wax has a lower melting point than paraffin wax, which means your candle burns slower and lasts longer. Many candle lovers find soy candles to be gentler and less overpowering than traditional paraffin candles, creating a cozy atmosphere without an overwhelming burst of fragrance. In short? Soy wax is cleaner, longer-lasting, and better for both your home and the environment. Sounds pretty amazing to us.

Cool, right? Our wooden wicks are made from all-natural native cherry wood and create the cozy crackle of a mini fireplace—without having to chop any wood. Their unique horizontal flame adds to the ambiance, while helping your candle burn slowly and evenly so you can enjoy every last drop of fragrance. Basically, they're pretty awesome.

Usually, nope! Our wooden wicks are self-trimming, meaning they do most of the work for you. If your wick is longer than ½" after extinguishing the flame, let the candle cool completely and trim it to about ¼" before relighting. Be sure to remove any wick trimmings from the wax before lighting again. Tiny bits of wood + melted wax = not the prettiest look.

Great news: our candles burn for 90+ hours when cared for properly. That's a whole lot of cozy. To get the most out of your candle, burn it for 3–4 hours at a time and trim your wick to ⅛" before each lighting. Be patient and let the melt pool reach the edges of the jar before blowing it out. Think of it as setting your candle up for success—otherwise, it may tunnel and miss out on all that glorious wax. After all, every last ounce deserves its moment to shine.

Let's just say we don't mess around when it comes to fragrance. Brighter Days candles are made using the maximum fragrance load recommended for soy wax, so you get an amazing scent throw without compromising a clean burn. Our 14 oz candles are perfect for spaces like bedrooms, kitchens, living rooms, and dining rooms, and can fill areas up to 400–500 square feet depending on the layout of your space. In other words: your home is about to smell really, really good.

Absolutely! Custom candles are kind of our thing. Whether you're looking for wedding favors, baby shower favors, corporate gifts, client appreciation gifts, or branded candles for your business, we'd love to bring your vision to life. From custom labels and scent selection to vessel colors and packaging, we'll work with you to create something uniquely yours. Just be warned: custom candles have a way of becoming everyone's favorite party favor. We can't be held responsible for guests fighting over the last one.

We know you're excited to get your candles (trust us—we'd be excited too). Most orders ship within 3-5 business days, though custom orders may take a bit longer depending on the size and complexity of your order. Once your order ships, you'll receive an email with tracking information so you can stalk your package every step of the way. We totally get it.

You bet! Good scents know no borders. We ship internationally to many countries, with shipping costs and delivery times varying by destination. Any customs fees or import taxes are the responsibility of the customer. And yes, you'll receive tracking information once your order ships, because waiting for happy mail is hard enough as it is.

Unfortunately, we do not currently accept returns. We know it's hard to know if you'll love a scent without smelling it in person (where's digital scratch-and-sniff when you need it?). If your candle isn't quite your cup of tea, consider gifting it to a friend, family member, or fellow candle lover—sharing is caring, after all. Want to smell before you buy?
