WHAT ARE BRIGHTER DAYS CANDLES MADE OF?
Brighter Days candles are made of 100% soy wax from American grown soy beans. Our fragrance oils are infused with essential oils and are phthalate free and non-toxic. Our wicks are made of an organic native cherry wood.
WHY SOY WAX?
WHAT'S THE DEAL WITH THE WOODEN WICKS?
Cool, right? Our wooden wicks are made from all natural and organic native cherry wood. They provide a unique horizontal flame, creating a soft crackling sound when burning (like a mini fireplace in your house). They actually help the candle to burn slower, adding even more burn-time to your aromatherapy.
DO I NEED TO TRIM THE WOODEN WICK?
In most cases our wooden wicks are self-trimming, meaning you don’t need to do anything to them in between burning sessions. If your wick is longer than ½” after you extinguish the flame, allow it to cool completely and trim the wick to roughly ¼” before relighting. Always make sure to remove all of the wick trimmings from the wax prior to relighting or it can discolor your wax!
HOW LONG WILL MY CANDLE BURN FOR?
Our candles last for 90+ hours burned if burned properly! Be sure to burn in 3-4 hour increments and trim your wick to 1/8'' before each lighting. Make sure that the melt pool reaches the edges of the candle before extinguishing - otherwise your candle will not burn evenly the next time you light it.
HOW FRAGRANT ARE THE CANDLES?
Brighter Days candles use the maximum fragrance allowed in soy wax. A 14 oz candle is best used in a room such as a kitchen, bedroom, or dining room (somewhere not as open), but can fill a room up to 400-500 square feet.

HOW LONG DOES SHIPPING TAKE? WILL I RECEIVE TRACKING INFORMATION?
There is a processing time of 3-5 business days. We ship USPS Priority or UPS Ground, which usually has a delivery time of 1-2 days. Your tracking will be emailed to you as soon as your order ships.
DO YOU OFFER INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING?
We currently only offer U.S. Shipping. If you live elsewhere, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your postal code and candles you are interested in so we can calculate shipping costs. (Please note any extra duties or fees that incur are the responsibility of the receiver.)
RETURNS + EXCHANGES
Unfortunately, we do not currently accept returns. While we know it is extremely difficult to know if you'll enjoy a smell without having the candle in person (where's digital scratch and sniff when you need it?) please consider gifting your candle to a friend or someone you think would enjoy it. You may also check out where you can find us at local shows or boutiques.
